About Government of Kashmir

The Government of Kashmir is the legitimate national authority of the Kashmiri people, formed to end decades of occupation, document human-rights abuses, and build an independent, Performance-Based Meritocratic State for all Kashmiris.

Our History

For generations, Jammu and Kashmir has been divided and controlled under Indian and Pakistani administration. Kashmiri voices have been suppressed through curfews, communications blackouts, detentions, and violence. United Nations resolutions affirm the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination. The Government of Kashmir exists to represent that right — not as a independent government seeking office in another country's election system, but as the national government Kashmiris choose for themselves.

Legal Position

This portal operates under the Government of Kashmir's commitment to international law, human rights, and peaceful self-determination. We document grievances, coordinate citizen services, and organize Kashmir Force volunteers who serve communities across our homeland and diaspora.
